2018 Veterans and Friends Ball

Please come join us in celebrating our United States Military Veterans at the second annual Veterans and Friends Ball on November 10th, 2018.  Reception will begin at 5:30 pm and last until 6:30 pm with light hors d’oeuvres, and cash bar available for refreshment.  Our silent auction will also begin at this time.  Seating for dinner will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.  Members of the Blue Hen Veterans and Friends, Inc. board of directors will make a short address to the audience and then dinner will be served.

Menu: Italian Themed, Grilled Rosemary Chicken, Shrimp Scampi, Pesto Cellentani, Italian White Bean Salad, Caesar Salad, Seasonal Vegetables, Mini Ciabattas with Basil Oil, and Tiramisu.

Live entertainment will begin no later than 8:00 pm and last until 10:00 pm. The cash bar will be available throughout the event for refreshment, and our silent auction will conclude at 9:30 pm.

All proceeds from this event will go to support the Student Veterans of America Chapter at the University of Delaware (Blue Hen Veterans).  This event is co-sponsored by University of Delaware Alumni Association (UDAA), and we are grateful for their support.

General Admission tickets can be purchased at a cost of $50 per attendee from The Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center and Trabant University box offices.  Discounted tickets for students at a cost of $40 per attendee are only available at these two box offices.
